A deliberately sensational title to this post, agreed ๐
At the beginning of this week I was coughing and spluttering through practice. I’d decided to get back into regular 5 days a week practice. So Monday was quite a slog to get through. Sometimes it can go either way with colds but I wasn’t giving in. As the week progressed I actually felt better for the practice.
I found the back-bends particularly therapeutic as they open the front to the body nicely, especially the chest.
On top of my little man cold I’ve had some serious stress at work. I was a little concerned that I’d not have the energy to do a full primary and deal with all the stress but it’s been OK. Thursday had over 20 people practicing in the morning Mysore class which was great, I find Thurs is generally the toughest day for me but I was carried along nicely by the heat and energy in the room.
It never ceases to inspire and support me when there’s a room full of people turning up regularly. Sarah has done such a good job in nurturing the Ashtanga Mysore room at BNHC over the last few years since Russell and Sally moved on.
Wishing you all a peaceful weekend!

I just found this video on You Tube that really shows how germs and viruses spread. It is so cool. It’s meant for kids but I even learned a lot!
